In 2024, we raised $50,000🙌

Annual Gala Fundraiser Event

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, MALHY Community Outreach Protective Services Inc. hosted its annual fundraising gala at Pechanga Resort, celebrating another impactful year of service across Southern California. The organization, known by the acronym M.A.L.H.Y.—which stands for Mental Health, Addiction, Love, Human Trafficking, and Youth Literacy—offers comprehensive, no-cost support to individuals ages 10 to 25.

MALHY’s wide range of free services includes mental health counseling, addiction recovery programs, transitional housing, employment assistance, food and clothing support, financial literacy education, legal document delivery for victims, youth sports camps, notary services, and medical examinations. The organization continues to expand its reach, with mediation services set to launch soon as part of its growing commitment to empowering and protecting vulnerable youth and young adults in the region.

After facing deeply personal challenges involving her own children—such as issues related to suicide and human trafficking—Dr. Jessica Smith realized there were few places to turn for immediate support. Determined to fill that gap for others, she founded M.A.L.H.Y. Community Outreach Protective Services Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families navigate similar difficult situations.

At its core, M.A.L.H.Y. is built on a mission to help individuals embrace their free spirit, redefine their sense of freedom, and build a strong, positive path forward in life. Through M.A.L.H.Y., Dr. Smith continues to transform personal adversity into a powerful source of healing and hope for others.
